With 20 years of experience in the broadcast and playout market, PlayBox Neo pioneered both the server-based and cloud-based playout concepts. Our servers and software today power over 18,500 TV and branding channels in more than 120 countries. PlayBox Neo's high-efficiency server-based and cloud-based solutions support every scale and type of one-to-many transmission.
Making its IBC debut this year at our stand 8.B71, Cloud2TV is a suite of software designed to run on any enterprise platform. Available on a budget-friendly SaaS subscription, it is fully compatible with existing PlayBox Neo solutions and can be used standalone or to extend their capabilities and functionality. Cloud2TV supports UHD, HD and SD and can be operated in fully automated mode while giving operators the freedom to make schedule alterations or insert live content between prescheduled content. Cloud2TV modules can be used individually for a specific application or in co-ordination with the others.
On demonstration at our stand will be the latest updates to the established PlayBox Neo Channel-in-a-Box system. Users include national and international broadcasters, start-up TV channels, webcasters, interactive TV and music channels, film channels, remote TV channels, corporate information channels and disaster-recovery channels. Channel-in-a-Box comes complete with a dedicated high-specification server in a choice of 3U and 1U sizes which can be used on its own or in combination to support any number of channels. Each server can be configured from a range of Neo-series software modules and optional accessories.
