There was an energetic vibe on the PlayBox Neo stand with visitors engaged in conversations and impressed by PlayBox Neo Suite being purposefully created for broadcasters, with a modular design, allowing for further expansion for single terrestrial, satellite, or online channels, through to global network transmission over multiple time zones. With PlayBox Neo solutions being flexible, it gives room for customisation for any scope of channel playout management -  from television stations to major broadcast networks.

At IBC this year, PlayBox Neo revealed for the first time, powerful new features in the PlayBox Neo Suite to optimise broadcast workflows. The latest enhancements dynamically revamp live playout, stream switching, and multiviewer monitoring, delivering meticulous accuracy, efficiency and unrivalled control. Some of PlayBox Neo Suite’s other new features released at IBC2025 include “Intelligent Input Switching” that allows seamless switching between SDI, NDI, Screen Input, Decoded Stream, AirBox Neo, and TitleBox Neo. Secondly, the new “Penalty Box Multiviewer” was created to spot challenges faster. The latest “TS Time Delay” multiviewer now quickly identifies input stream issues, optimising performance. The intuitive “Stream and Input Switch Monitoring Interface” offers real-time status further streamlining broadcast workflows for maximum efficiency. Other new features include advanced audio channel remapping; frame interpolation for frame-rate conversion; enhanced alarm settings, SCTE35 conversion support, and expanded NDI support. In addition, AirBox Neo now supports Scenarist SCC captions for improved captioning support for seamless integration of customer workflows.
